About Clearmind College

Clearmind College applies Human Givens psychology as training days in Australia and New Zealand to better enable emotional and mental health. Our mission is to meet the needs of those in the counselling and caring professions who wish to treat more effectively people with depression, anxiety disorders (including PTSD and phobias), chronic pain, and all forms of emotional distress.

Human Givens psychology, dubbed ‘a quiet revolution’ by ‘New Scientist’, is the result of pioneering research by psychologist Joseph Griffin and psychotherapist Ivan Tyrrell. A series of bestselling self-help books on topics including depression, anxiety, anger and addiction, together with widespread application in medical settings, show the extensive clinical and social significance of these practical ideas.

Clearmind College’s Human Givens Study Course offers training days which are authenticated and recognised by MindFields College: the specialist psychology college in the UK which created the Human Givens approach.
